Welcome to LDG Personal Styling!

Firstly, Thank you for clicking onto my website, you've found me! I'm Louise your Personal Stylist based in the Staffordshire area & my aim is to help you stay stylish & confident using the power of clothes. This is my first blog so you'll have to tell me how I get on?

So, a little bit about me.... I'm 50 years young & 30 years ago my career started in an industry which was so far removed from Personal Styling, they're like chalk & cheese!! This was the medical industry. I worked in the operating theatres as an anaesthetic practitioner. It was a career I kind of fell into but never felt this was my true vocation in life. I wonder how many of you have felt that? So...at the age of 47 I had the opportunity to kick-start my training & decided to follow my dream as a Personal Stylist, I've never looked back!

Since I qualified with the British College of Professional Stylists, I gave myself 3 years to start my business & style my first client (I lacked confidence in myself) but I not only completed my course with flying colours, I created my brand, logo, got a website & I was off!

People actually wanted me to help with their style! It turned out people of Staffordshire really WAS interested in how I could help them!

I was even approached to collaborate with the McarthurGlen Designer Outlet in Cannock to assist with a "giveaway" they were launching for one lucky guest to have a shopping experience with me! I loved every second of it from filming the instagram promo through to seeing the huge smile & feeling the joy with the guest when she left with her new outfits!! She felt like Magic!

They asked me back again to offer guests "Mini Colour Analysis" sessions too which i absolutely love discovering clients perfect colour palettes. Clients cannot wait to hit the shops armed with their FREE colour fans.

I understand the "I've got nothing to wear" dilemmas, standing in front of your wardrobe feeling lost, deflated, then you reach straight for the only outfit you know fits & are usually dark like black or the safe dark navy options and a white shirt.

Don't get me wrong, we should all be housing a quality white shirt in our wardrobes but are you longing to show your personality? maybe you've started a new job & feel like your work-wear should reflect your position in the office or stuck for a casual outfit and sick of wearing the same outfits again & again!!

Of course, this is not an exhaustive list, I could go on but your probably needing to get back to more important chores! .....

So......whether its a wardrobe edit you could do with, a fun session on how to discover your BEST seasonal colour palette or grab some exciting new outfits with me guiding, you every step of the way, I'm your Professional Stylist ready to strut my way through those stores, and do ALL the hard work for you!

Just meet up with me on the day of your shopping experience & the pieces will all be ready for YOU to try on! That's AMAZING isn't it? (of course, I would've already had a chat with you to discuss your wants & needs, know your colours & body shape before I start your pre-shop).

I will also be writing a Newsletter once a month to keep you up-to-date with style trends in 2025, (and yes, you may have noticed Autumn wear has started to appear in stores) how to build a "Timeless Wardrobe" & much much more.....!
